Tomorrow will be one week till graduation. Today I picked up my cap and gown. Today is Derek's last day of work and he gets to be at my beckon call during my last week of college. I just adore him for being the most wonderful husband. I love him dearly. Ok so here are the exciting things in a wrap up.

Things left to do:
  • Research Paper
  • PR final
  • English final
  • Clean
  • Pack
Things to look forward to:
  • Yellowstone after graduation
  • First week of August boating trip in Park City with my whole family!
  • Third week in August trip to Hawaii with Derek's Family! (We'll miss you Cassie!)
  • Done with school for forever
  • Derek all to myself without school or work getting in the way for a little while. I
I am so blessed. Life is wonderful.

Big News!

So this is big news for the Power family. I know many of you know a million other people who are currently pregnant but before you roll your eyes and skip over this post completely (ha), read on and hear a little bit about our story. I am currently 20 weeks pregnant. We just found out yesterday that we are expecting a baby girl. She is due to enter this world on January 3, 2012. So far she is healthy and growing strong. She is growing about a week ahead of schedule. Maybe she'll come early...like before the end of the year. Derek and I will celebrate our 3rd anniversary on the 16th of January...so not too long after our sweet girl is born. A little about us: Derek: One of the things I love most about Derek is how patiently he accepts trials in his life. He always has such a good atitude about what life has handed him. When he was 11 or 12 he was diagnosed with Type 1 diabetes. Then at age 19 he was diagnosed with Lymphoma Cancer.  He has now been in remission for 5 ...

32 Weeks

32 weeks, 2 days here How Far Along: 32 weeks, 4 days Size of the Baby:  Almost 4 pounds and about 17 inches long Weight gain/loss: 3.6 pounds in the last month bringing me to 12.6 pounds total Sleep:  It's gotten worse. Oh well. At least the trains are the least of my worries now. Any sleep advice for the 3rd trimester? I'll take any I can get. I wake up with the worst back and abdomen pain and I have to rotate multiple times throughout the night since my hips, legs, arms, and hands all start going numb. ha I am ready to buy a recliner and sleep sitting up. It might work out better. Best Moment of the Week: My birthday and my baby shower. (More to come on these later) How could you not have an awesome week with those two things in the mix?
